She was always told that she couldn’t be emotional and to hide how she was feeling. This has caused her to have severe anxiety as an adult and she has a tendency to hide her feelings and comes off as cold.

Meeting Sunny’s family is big for Veah since this is the man she wants to spend her life with. There are a lot of things that have been brought up though.

One of them is his religion. He is a practicing Muslim and Veah doesn’t consider herself to be that religious. How will she act when they ask her about her religion?
