90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 Heats Up Summer With 6 Couples

TLC’s reality show, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, returns on Monday nights, revealing the stories of six couples. Each has fallen in love with partners from other countries and chosen to move to be with them.

In the latest season, couples will be seen living in China, Iceland, Ireland, Turkey, Indonesia and England. Returning on Monday, July 1 fans can enjoy a special two-hour episode to kick off the new season. Read on to find out about the couples coming to the reality show.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6

Appearing in the new season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, some couples are returning to our screens, while others are new to the TLC reality show.

Shekinah (California) & Sarper (Turkey) – returning

Shekinah has been back in the US for three months and is ready to make her move to Turkey to be with her partner, Sarper. Both have been working to resolve their issues, but women from Sarper’s past are reaching out to Shekinah, leading to her questioning just how well she really knows her “reformed bad boy.” Can the couple get past the drama or will their relationship come to an end?

Statler (Texas) & Dempsey (England) – returning

As season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way kicks off, Statler and Dempsey embark on their great European van life adventure. Dempsey plans out their new lives on the road, while Statler becomes increasingly overwhelmed and doubts her decisions over this drastic lifestyle change. Meanwhile, as they head out on the road, the anxiety truly begins to bubble over, leading to their European adventure not being as spectacular as they hoped.

Josh (South Carolina) & Lily (China) – new

This new addition to the TLC reality show met on a language learning app and fell deeply in love. Meanwhile, they are so enamored that they marry and Josh decides to quit his job in the US to move to China. Moreover, Lily, a successful business owner, feels that Josh is her dream man. However, as Josh is not able to work in China, Lily becomes the sole breadwinner and disagreements start to affect the relationship with his lack of finances becoming a major source of contention between the couple. Will this, along with tensions with Lily’s family members lead to the end of their international relationship?

James (Maine) & Meitalia (Indonesia) – new

After initially meeting online, James and Meitalia have been married for two and a half years and living together in Maine. However, Meitalia is desperately homesick and has been suffering health issues. She decides that she and James need to move to Indonesia to be near her family. However, James struggles to break the news to his tight-knit family. Meanwhile, the problems truly begin once James and Meitalia are in Indonesia. James is tested by her family about when he will learn their language. Moreover, the family wants to know if they will have children and how are they going to survive financially in Indonesia.

Corona (Pennsylvania) & Ingi (Iceland) – new

Corona, a midwife in training met Ingi following a night of partying. She decides to move to Iceland to be with her “Viking”, even if this means giving up her spot in a prestigious midwifery program. However, when she arrives in Iceland, Corona quickly realizes that her hot romance may not be what she imagined it to be. Ingi’s limited dating experience and the fact that she may not be able to study in the midwifery program in Iceland makes her question her move to Iceland – will love conquer all, or will she be forced to return to the US to pursue her dream career?

Joanne (New York) & Sean (Ireland) – new

While Joanne and Sean have already secretly married, they finally decide to be physically together in Ireland, where Sean is working to create a home base. However, before she can even think about the move, she needs the approval of her two sons, who she is finally bringing to meet Sean. Meanwhile, matters take a turn in Ireland when Sean and Joanne are pulled in different directions and they have to deal with the strain caused by their secret marriage.
