The two of them plan on building their life together in Indonesia, but she doesn’t make a lot of money there and he won’t be able to work there for a few years.

When Meitalia and James decided to move to Indonesia, he wasn’t sure that he should ever tell his family. His brother found out that night before he moved and at that point, James still hadn’t told his parents.

James was working for his parents’ company and his brother felt as if he was leaving them high and dry by moving. Apparently he has done this before with girlfriends. His last one made him move to Florida for her. His family doesn’t trust that this will last, much like the last one.

Meitalia wanted to move back to Indonesia for what she calls a better life. However, James asked her about money and career and she basically can’t give him an answer as to how much money her family’s banana chip farm can make.

Even though there are so many red flags in their marriage, James holds onto the idea that everything will be better for them in Indonesia.

Fans of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way have started to share their opinions about Meitalia. One Redditor pointed out that she seems very distant from James now that he is in Indonesia.

She doesn’t want him to participate with her family and seemed annoyed by the fact that he did. Some even pointed out that she is very immature and doesn’t seem to take a lot seriously in her marriage to James.

One Redditor wrote, “Meitalia doesn’t want to take any responsibility for her own actions. She is just an immature child.”
