The group is called Paradise Men and it turns out that there are pictures of older women looking for men in Nigeria.

When Angela found the chats on Michael’s phone, she immediately went in to read them further. She saw that he was in a group chat called Paradise Men. She also discovered that Michael had shared legal and tax information with this random group of people.

This group seems to be for older, American women who are trying to find a husband from Nigeria.

When she took his phone, Michael did the best he could to defend himself and tell his wife that these women and men are all just trying to find out more about the visa process. Of course, Angela feels as if he is working in a shady business.

When Angela saw these messages, she was pushed to her limit. Michael told her that it is called Paradise Men because, “You are going to the U.S. Land of the free, you know? Like, the U.S. is a paradise. That’s all.”

While Angela was scrolling through his messages, she noticed that Michael was talking to more elderly women on the app. This is really starting to make Angela feel as if Michael has been scamming her and multiple other women to get money out of them.

The website attached to this group is a way to “save and invest with ease”, but Angela feels that it is scamming women. She feels that she has been scammed for years since she and Michael got together.
