In her message, Dempsey expressed that while she typically avoids engaging in online disputes, she felt compelled to speak out, stating, “enough is enough.”
Dempsey posted a screenshot of a conversation with Statler, where she informed Statler that she would return her belongings once she is back in Nottingham.
Dempsey insists that she is not keeping Statler’s teddies “hostage” but has simply been preoccupied with travel and work commitments.
In a subsequent slide, Dempsey expressed that her peace of mind and mental well-being are far more important than feeling the need to justify herself to anyone.
She publicly stated that Statler has harassed her online, spread falsehoods, and tarnished her reputation in a bid to “destroy” her life. Additionally, Dempsey accused Statler of making hurtful remarks about her family.
Dempsey’s calling Statler out, and expressed her outrage, stating, “Involving my family, spreading falsehoods about my culture, and exhibiting blatant racism towards those I care about is absolutely revolting.”
She cautioned her followers against solely accepting Statler’s narrative, emphasizing that every story has two sides. “Consider this the next time you feel compelled to join a movement without understanding the full context; online harassment can have devastating consequences,” she added.
Ultimately, Dempsey concluded her message on a conciliatory note, saying, “Despite everything that has transpired, I genuinely wish her well and hope for her to respect my space moving forward.” However, on 90 Day Fiancé The Other Way, the couple discovers exactly how incompatible they are.
