’90 Day Fiance’ Ben Rathbun Is Deathly Ill With Cancer

90 Day Fiance star Ben Rathbun married Mahogany Roca and took off to live with her in Peru. But, he eventually returned Stateside, and now he’s allegedly gotten so ill with cancer that he might not survive. Read on for more details.

Ben Rathbun Was Recently Arrested

TLC fans were not partial to Ben because he was a former pastor with an arrest record. Additionally, he dated Mahogany Roca from Peru and she was very much younger than him. Many 90 Day Fiance fans saw red flags and encouraged her to dump him. 

Ben Rathbun’s latest arrest came in late November. The 90 Day Fiance alum had been in Peru but arrived at the airport in the USA only to end up taken into custody. His passport was flagged as he was allegedly wanted for child support payments and for embezzlement from a non-profit or charity.

Cancer News About Ben Rathbun

Initially, Shabooty shared the news that the former 90 Day Fiance star is very unwell. Shared on Reddit by u/CuriousmomAL, the message said:

Saddening news. Ben has stage 4 cancer and he is too weak for chemo. His family is gathering to see him. Mahogany is by his side ( and staying with his family through this difficult time). He is reaching out to people to make amends.

Ben Rathbun does seem to have had a better relationship with Mahogany Roca than TLC fans suspected he would have. Clearly, she followed him from Peru when he returned Stateside. Now that 90 Day Fiance fans know he’s so ill, there is some remorse about comments made previously. 

TLC Fans Express Remorse 

When the news arrived that the TLC star had been arrested, his mugshot looked dreadful. So, some 90 Day Fiance fans assumed that he’d been taking drugs like meth. Now, there is sorrow for comments like that. Here are some reactions from the discussion:

• I guess that would explain why he’s looked so much worse lately 😞 definitely feel bad for commenting on it
• I wish him peace. What a crap show of a life he’s lead the past several years. Mostly I hope his children are alright.

It might seem like odd timing, but Ben Rathbun was probably aware of the warrant for his arrest. Perhaps he was just so ill, that he returned ot the USA hoping doctors could help him or to see his family one last time.
