Brian is a quadroplegic and he has been in a wheelchair for almost his entire life. The two of them met on a dating app. She is from Brazil and Brian has been very open with her about his disabilities.

Brian wasn’t sure if he could do a long-distance relationship, but he has done very well so far. However, he does want to be with her and eventually get her to the United States.

Even though Brian seems perfectly fine with the distance, after watching the first episode, some fans feel that these two are not as stable as they let on.
