90 Day Fiance Alum Leida Margaretha Gets Felony Case Dismissed

90 Day Fiance fans met Leida Margaretha and fiancé Eric Rosenbrook in Season 6 of the TLC show. She ended up arrested several times since then but caught a break recently when some federal charges were dismissed.

Leida Margaretha Is Not The Only TLC Star Arrested 

Recently, Ben Rathbun was arrested when he returned to the USA from Peru. At the moment, he faces charges for alleged non-payment of child support and embezzlement. Meanwhile, TLC fans are familiar with Geoffrey Paschel who serves 18 years for domestic violence offenses. 

Another 90 Day Fiance star behind bars is Mike Eloshway for CSAM. So, Leida Margaretha is not the only TLC star to run foul of the law. In fact, she has been stacking up arrests for alleged felony theft and fraud charges in multiple counties. However, at least some of the cases have been dismissed.

Charges Dismissed Against Leida Margaretha

Starcasm reported that some of the legal problems of the 90 Day Fiance alum disappeared in Columbia County. The outlet revealed that court documents showed that “the District Attorney filed a motion to dismiss on November 26. The judge in the case filed an order to dismiss on Monday. The judgment of dismissal/acquittal was officially filed earlier today.”

The charges that were dismissed against Leida Margaretha were for alleged felony fraud, theft, and forgery involving a former employer. However, it’s not clear why they were dismissed, so speculation is that some sort of deal was arrived at with the owner of the company and the former TLC star. 

Other Cases Are Still Pending

The dismissal of the charges doesn’t mean that 90 Day Fiance alum is in the clear. Notably, there is another case in Juneau County, Wisconsin. Ironically, her arrest for that came when she was out on bond for the Columbia County arrest. 

The outlet reported that in that case:

The total of the charges is $14,473.92. The owner of the business later told investigators ‘some of the transferred funds had been reimbursed to the company bank accounts.” These charges against Leida are still pending.

In case you are wondering, whether their marriage survived, it didn’t. In February, Leida Margaretha filed for a divorce from Eric Rosenbrook, a former military veteran. The TLC star, who hailed from Indonesia seems to have messed up her life in the USA. With a possible prison sentence lying ahead, things look bleak for her.
