’90 Day Fiance’ Alum Ben Rathbun Arrested For Multiple Offenses

90 Day Fiance alum Ben Rathbun arrived on the TLC franchise in Before The 90 Days Season 5, and the former pastor came draped in red flags as far as fans were concerned. Recently, he was arrested and charged with multiple offenses. Notably, it’s not the first time he saw the wrong side of the bars.

Ben Rathbun Was A Pastor

Ben was with Mahogany Roca, from Peru on the TLC show. The first time fans found out he was arrested, he had contravened the conditions of a previous arrest. When he worked for the Michigan Lupus Foundation he violated parole for an OWI that happened after he drank alcohol when he helped someone out. Tests later revealed Flubromazolam in his body.

90 Day Fiance fans noticed that Ben Rathbun always had a long complicated story to justify himself. He and Mahogany Roca were both religious, and they confessed deep love for each other. But, TLC fans urged her to run because she was much younger than him. 

Ben Rathbun Was Not Trusted By 90 Day Fiance Fans

By August 2022, Ben had been fired and become a fitness model, and the couple got engaged. Needless to say, 90 Day Fiance fans didn’t trust him  any further than they could throw him. By November of that year, he announced that he was running a fitness center to benefit a local shelter and food bank. In 2023, Mahogany Roca and Ben Rathbun went quiet on social media and now he’s been arrested again.

Via Starcasm, Shabooty’s news about the arrest revealed that Ben Rathbun was hiding out in Peru, and the charges stem from “2018.” Unfortunately, he tried returning stateside but his passport had “been flagged.” The outlet noted:

Benjamin “Pastor Ben” Rathbun is back behind bars in Michigan. The 55-year-old former reality star is currently facing a felony count of embezzlement from a non-profit or charity. He’s also being held for unpaid child support.

When 90 Day Fiance Now shared the post on Instagram, TLC  fans were quick to have their say about the dodgy reality TV alum. Ben Rathbun never left anyone watching the show feeling charmed and sweet on him. Here are some of their thoughts:
