90 Day Fiancé fans were shocked to the core while watching Monday night’s episode of 90 Day Diaries. During the episode, the cameras revealed Jenny and Sumit living in India and a true surprise.

After all these years, Sumit’s mom, Sahna, has finally accepted Jenny as a daughter in law. This comes after she had been firmly against their 30-year age difference during their entire time on 90 Day Fiancé. What happened to finally get Sahna to accept Jenny?

90 Day Diaries reveals Sahna accepting Jenny

It seems that sometimes, miracles do happen, as Sumit Singh’s parents finally accept his wife, Jenny Slatten to the family.

This news was shared in Monday’s episode of 90 Day Diaries, where TLC caught up with Sumit and Singh and their life in India. Meanwhile, Sahna, who was bitterly against their relationship due to the 30-year age gap, has finally accepted Jenny with broad smiles.

Jenny shared images of Sahna and Anil to her Facebook, captioning the post, “The happiest word for me…. Acceptance!”

Fans will recall that tensions with Sumit’s family were a major issue for years, especially with his mother slamming the relationship after Jenny permanently moved to India.

She was so against their relationship that she even threatened suicide if Sumit married Jenny. However, she rather disowned him after their secret marriage.

Monday’s episode of 90 Day Diaries reveals Jenny, 65, and Sumit, 35, announcing they had opened a cooking business and were still together despite all the drama.

The couple also pointed out that while Sumit’s father, Anil, had blessed their marriage, they were still hoping for Sahna’s approval.

However, later in the episode, Sahna and Anil visited the TLC reality couple, leading to a shocking revelation. Sumit and Jenny told the cameras that his parents had changed their thinking over time.

“When you face many things and talk to many people, you realize that you cannot change everything in life,” Anil told cameras, adding, “You have to accept it as it is. We have accepted it.”

Sahna also spoke up saying, “Yes, I have accepted her. What else is there to do? As long as they are happy, we are happy too.”

Meanwhile, Jenny told Sahna and Anil that she was grateful that after many years, they were talking without fighting. Sumit looked so happy about this wonderful turn of events and Jenny added, as the whole family smiled:

All I can say is thank you so much for finally, finally loving me and I know I love you guys.

Sumit never gave up on his parents

Speaking in a confessional, Jenny said, “Wow, I got more than I asked for, more than I expected,”  adding, “I feel like I’m on the other side of this. This is something that, you know, Sumit and I have been hoping for this whole entire time. Sumit never gave up on his parents and being hopeful and now here we are. It’s really actually happening. Finally, they see us together, we’re married, we’re happy, we love each other and finally they see it. They’re accepting it.”

As for Sumit, he added that he had been fighting for love for so long and finally, his family looked happy together, adding:

And that’s one of the best things I could ever get in my life.
