1,000-Lb. Sisters Tammy Slaton shared a video recently highlighting an incredible milestone in her weight loss journey. The TLC star revealed that since 2022, she’s lost 500 pounds. More on this story, down below.

On Sunday, August 18, Slaton hopped on TikTok and reshared a clip where she’s seen posing with other “weight loss warriors”, in a video. Using Tik Tok’s ‘duet feature’, she shared her friend’s video, while also lip-syncing Andra Day’s, “Rise Up”.

Tammy added the following words on the video: “Truly absolutely amazing ladies and I’m happy to call y’all my friends.”

She goes on to add, “I’m so proud of each and every one of y’all not only are you beautiful on the inside but you’re gorgeous on the outside never forget.”

The original video was posted by one of the “weight loss warriors”. In the clip, 38-year-old Slaton can be seen donning leggings and a red shirt, where it was revealed, she lost 500 pounds.

All in all, the women in the video, along with Slaton, have lost a total of over 2,000 pounds.

Fans were happy to flood the comment sections with congratulations and praises of how proud they were of Slaton. Some also noted what an inspiration Tammy has been to them.

1,000-Lb. Sisters debuted on January 2020 via the TLC network. During the reality show’s five seasons, viewers have witnessed Tammy and her sister, Amy Slaton-Halterman, navigate the challenging road of weight loss, and have seen the obstacles they’ve endured.

Before the Tik Tok video Tammy reposted this past Sunday, Slaton’s last weight loss update was at 400 pounds, as of April of this year.

Tammy shared an Instagram photo of her sitting with friend, Haley Michelle, poolside while wearing a blue swimsuit. Haley captioned the IG pic, with, “Proud of you. (blue heart emoji)”
