When Amy was arrested, she was with her boyfriend, Brian Vovvorn and her two sons. They were heading to a safari park to have a great date, but things went south very quickly. Amy ended up getting bitten by a camel that she was feeding.

Of course, the park had to call 911 and when they arrived, they noticed something odd about the entire situation. They smelled marijuana in her car and when they searched the vehicle, they also found magic mushrooms.

Amy and Brian were arrested and taken to Crockett County Jail. They were released on bond and now it looks like they have had their day in court.

Amy and Brian recently appeared in court, where Amy pleaded guilty to drug possession charges. She may a plea deal and it looks as if she will not have to go to jail and the child abuse and endangerment charges have been dimissed.

She has to enter a drug and alcohol program and pay a $500 fine. She will be banned, for life, from the Tennessee Safari Park in Crockett County.

As soon as Redditors heard the news, they were quick to share their opinions about the charges. They pointed out that her ex, Michael Halterman, could have fought to get the kids back after she was arrested.

These Redditors mentioned that she was very lucky to not have to deal with that after she was arrested. One added, “Did the fame get her or depression? Last episode she was ready to look for love, found jail. I hope she gets right and decides she is good enough for herself and her kids.”
