Amanda Halterman and her sister Tammy Slaton are fighting with each other on the current season of 1000-Lb Sisters. However, as Amanda is chasing after a guy and planning to move to Florida, they might not need to put up with each other for much longer.

Unusually, it is Chris Combs who grows impatient with Amanda. He’s usually level-headed, and he supports his family. But he’s irritated because of her boyfriend in Florida who distracts her. Why can’t she take it slowly? Then again, none of them do. Even Amy who recently got divorced went through a handful of boyfriends since Michael Halterman left. 

Amanda Halterman joined the cast of 1000-Lb Sisters in Season 2. She’d been going through a divorce, and plenty of TLC fans suspected she was the one who pushed Amy into choosing divorce. But now she wants to move to Florida, so fans wonder how well that will go down. Spoiler: It failed and she later returned to Kentucky. 

1000-Lb Sisters Star Will Move Away

A teaser for next week’s episode of 1000-Lb Sisters revealed that Amy, Chris, and Tammy Slaton will hear that their sister wants to move to Florida. On Reddit, TLC fan u/LaLaLaurensmith spoke about what fans can expect to see go down. The announcement arrived during dinner.

The OP said that Amanda Halterman dropped a “bomb” on the TLC show. They added:

TLC Fans Take Guesses And Other Reactions

In the comments section, the 1000-Lb Sisters discussion revealed that Amanda Halterman seems to be losing a lot of fans. Some of them slammed her hard:

• Amanda portrays herself as the self-imposed “Matriarch ” to the sisters. The all-knowing, advice-giving (and oh, always such GOOD advice), most helpful, always caring, F–KING MARTYR.. And just underneath that holy surface, is a mean girl simmering & ready to pounce off that high horse of hers…
• I think Amanda is a witch so I’m not unhappy she got screwed over! How stupid to leave for a man you don’t know?
• It’s funny cause if you follow them on tiktok, you’d already know. Not sure if she was supposed to talk about it, but she sure as hell did. I already know how this chapter ends haha.
• To me, it goes to show she may act like she has her shit together more than Amy and Tammy, but at the end of the day, she’s a hot mess too. She just hides it better for the cameras.
