Y&R Spoilers: Will Summer Ever Be Able To Forgive Daniel?

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that the truth is coming out about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) being alive at last, and finally, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is on track to being free from a crime she did not commit. This entire mess is entirely Phyllis’ own fault, and she continued to make it worse by dragging her children into it.

By admitting to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) that she was still alive, she put an unfair burden on them and ruined their conscious and potentially ruined her daughter’s marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) by forcing her to keep such a secret!

While Summer continued to keep this a secret, even from her own husband, Daniel struggled much more and felt like he had to tell someone.

Slowly, he came to terms with what was happening and went to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to tell him that his mother was still alive and he couldn’t lie anymore.

Now, everyone seems to be on Phyllis’ trail and it will only be a matter of time before she is found and potentially ends up in jail herself for lying, faking her death and killing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

With all of this coming to an end (hopefully soon), we have to wonder, how will Summer react to her brother spilling the beans?

Y&R Spoilers – Will Summer Newman Forgive Her Brother?

With Daniel essentially ratting out his own mother, it will be interesting to see how Summer reacts and if she will ever be able to forgive him for giving up their mom.

This will be a piece of Y&R lore for many years to come and could cause an enormous rift between the two of them for the long-term.

Daniel simply had a conscious and Summer did not. Sure, she may have struggled with it, but she knew what was right and what was wrong and continued not to say anything.

This could be the end of their relationship, and Summer and Daniel may not see each other for a long time to come.

Every time Summer thinks about him, she’ll scorn the day she told him the truth. Will there come a time when she can forgive him?
