The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) confirmed what her self-test indicated. She is pregnant. So, the question becomes whether she tells either Newman brother about the baby.

Sally appears to want Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to be the father. However, her talk with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at Crimson Lights was reaffirming.

Hope’s character still cares deeply for Adam. Her connection with Nick is an overt attempt to will herself away from his younger brother. But biology may link her to Adam forever.

Adam can not shut down his feelings. He has not been shy in telling that to Sally, either.

However, Adam is forcing himself to give Sally a chance to move on with Nick. He wants to believe she will grow tired of what he sees as his boring brother.

Adam obviously does not know that Sally is pregnant, with that news just being suspected and then confirmed since the new year dawned. A good soapy scenario would have Adam get a whiff of this development and then press the situation until he confirms it.

Nick was not involved in a sibling rivalry with Adam. Morrow’s character distrusted Sally when she was working for Adam due to the fact that she was aligned with his brother.

But time passed, and Nick could not deny that Sally was a competent and effective business asset. He came to respect her and openly disagreed with his sister and father about her termination.

Nick opted to tell Sally that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) let her go from the company. His defense of Sally was part of an evolution, as both characters were falling in love with each other.

Sally took the course referenced in this section’s header during her years on The Bold and the Beautiful. She also fell into that rut when initially arriving in Genoa City, Wisconsin, as her oust of Summer Newman (then played by Hunter King) from Jabot demonstrated.

But deciding to withhold information about the baby being Adam’s would be a purposeful lie. Sally likely tell Nick he is the father if that is the case.

But Sally needs to determine which Newman brother is the father of her baby. Then she will have the ability to tell one or both men the truth on Y&R.
