Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has already blown up his happy little life enough with his lies and inability to forgive. He won’t cut Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) any slack and told them their marriage is over before hopping into bed with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Audra must have made quite an impression on Kyle during their night together because he orders her flowers the next day, as well as diamond jewelry. That is some gift for what seemed like a one-night stand.

According to Y&R spoilers, Summer is none the wiser to what went on but is still beside herself because she wants Kyle back and can’t believe her life ended up like this. She was just trying to protect her mother and Kyle was trying to do the same. If she could forgive him, why can’t he forgive her? That is a very good question.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott’s Life Goes From Bad To Worse

While Kyle thinks he can at least still have a sex life with Audra, his professional life is about to change when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) suggests that Kyle resign from his role at Marchetti and leave it for Summer to run so that she will still have something after losing her husband.

Jack doesn’t want to resign, but he does it anyway. He still feels hurt, however, because it seems that his father is choosing Summer over him.

“It would put a lot of burden and the awkwardness on the employees of Marchetti should he stay so he does do the right thing and chooses to step down,” Michael Mealor said in the July 10, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “But it doesn’t mean he won’t hold it against everyone ekse involved because he does feel alone and attacked from all sides.”
