Y&R Spoilers: Will Daniel Romalotti Blow The Lid Off Of Phyllis Summers Plan?

Y&R spoilers hint at more twists and turns in the land of Genoa City. Right now, a major storyline involving Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and her faking her death has taken center stage. Red recently visited daughter Summer Newman-Abbott (Alison Lanier) and spilled the beans about her scheme gone wrong.

Of course, Summer couldn’t keep it to herself for that long, notifying brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) about what their mom has really been up to. Summer is keeping quiet about her mother’s shenanigans, but will Daniel do the same?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Is Not Okay With This

Unlike Summer, The Young and the Restless spoilers show Daniel is not okay with what his mom did. He’s also not okay with Summer keeping all this information to herself. He reminded his sister recently about the repercussions that she could face with hubby Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) if the truth came out. Not to mention how wrong it is that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is rotting in jail for a crime she did not commit.

While Romalotti does love his mom, he’s always disapproved of her antics. After all, he was raised by Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), while Summer grew up with Phyllis as her main influence; despite having Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as an active parent in her life. In many ways, Summer is a mini-me of Phyllis. While Daniel will likely want to re-establish a relationship with his mother, as they were on the outs before she died, he won’t want to do it if it costs him his values.

Y&R Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Will Not Go To The Police, But He May Go To His Dad

Daniel doesn’t seem like the type to go to the police, but he may go to his dad for help. Danny has a soft spot for Phyllis, and between the two, they may be able to come up with a solution that smooths everything over, but the truth comes out. Phyllis killed Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self-defense, so she should pay little to no time for that crime, and Diane’s framing job resulted in a ton of drama, but no one was really hurt.

Perhaps, Danny and Daniel go to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and look for a way to make things right, without going to the cops. After all, Christine Blair (Lauralee Belle) is the new D.A. and there is no love lost between her and Red. Christine would throw the book at her for this crime as a way to “punish” Phyllis for past crimes she never received justice for. If Danny and Daniel propose that both women bury the hatchet and keep the peace, would that be enough for everyone involved to move forward?
