Y&R Spoilers: Will Chloe Take A “Chance” With Chance?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease there might be some hot stuff happening in Genoa City. There are two people in town who should take a chance at romance – will Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) take a chance with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd)?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Not Much Happening

Viewers will agree even though Chloe is supposedly still married to Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) there’s not much happening in her world. All she does on Y & R lately is give advice to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). She hasn’t been in a scene with either Kevin or their children Bella or Miles Fisher (Martie Blair, uncast infant) in ages.

There hasn’t even been a mention of hand-me-downs offerings to Sally’s new baby should she decide to have it. Chloe could use a shaking-up storyline like cheating on boring GCPD computer nerd Kevin with much more exciting Detective Chance!

Y & R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor’s Drifting Romantically

As for Chance, he’s drifting romantically even though technically, he’s still married as well, to Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Chance and Chloe were actually engaged many years ago, so for him to take up with ex-fiancée Chloe in a torrid affair would be some nice comeuppance to Abby. He and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) caught Abby and supposedly platonic friend Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) doing the naked nasty all over the couch. If Chance brought a DNA light to Devon’s penthouse he’d find their DNA all over the place from the couch to the floor, to the stairs! Even though the powers that be seem to be pushing him and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) together, she and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) always seem to gravitate back together.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Messy, Messy

Since Chance and Kevin likely interact and run into each other at the police station fairly regularly, even if never onscreen, Chance and Chloe jumping on each other would be messy. Safe and boring couples never seem to hold a lot of interest for soap fans, and love in the afternoon is always more interesting if it’s lust in the afternoon. Forbidden love has always driven soap opera storylines once they translated from radio to television and stopped being morality lessons.

If Chance were suddenly to find himself jumping in bed with Chloe and not know where the passion came from, at least he might understand how it happened to Abby better. Sometimes old soul connections can run deep, and people not even realize they’re sexually attracted to each other until something explodes.
