The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans are wondering why Kyle hasn’t filled out the divorce papers. He made it clear to Summer that he wants her to move out of the mansion. He’s done with his marriage. He even went as far as to hook up with Audra. So, what’s the holdup?

The Young And The Restless – Fans Want to Know: What’s Taking Kyle So Long?

Some of the Young and the Restless fans want to know why Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) hasn’t filed the divorce papers since he’s so over his marriage to Summer Newman (Alison Lanier).

He already slept with Adudra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) even though he’s still married. Fans noticed that he hasn’t even removed his wedding ring. What’s taking him so long?

One fan took to the Soap Central forums to note that he hasn’t fully moved on. Just because he kicked Summer out of the mansion doesn’t mean anything. He still wears his wedding ring and he hasn’t filed for divorce. They’re still married.

“Kyle at least take off your wedding ring,” the original poster wrote. “If it’s so over why hasn’t Kyle taken off his ring? Then looking so guilty when he looks at Summer. He’ll probably fool around with Audra for a while then get back with Summer.”

Other Y&R fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. Some joked that he should swallow his wedding ring. others noted that Summer needs a clean break away from Kyle.

Otherwise, he would just punish her at every chance he got. Some believe he’s being hypocritical since he’s jumped into another woman’s bed so soon and has been crying about his marriage to Summer.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Kyle Abbott Looking For Sympathy?

The Young and the Restless fans noticed that Kyle may be looking for sympathy. He complained about Summer to his father Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman). However, some fans argued that Summer had it coming after she covered up for her mom Phyllis’ fake death scenario.

Others hope that Audra will take a good look at Kyle’s wedding finger and ask him why he’s still wearing it. So far, he’s been lavishing her with gifts. She appears to be distracted. Other Y&R fans say Kyle has lost sympathy because of the way he’s behaving.

Yet, some argue that Kyle can change his mind on a dime since Summer has done the same. Kyle made hasty decisions in a short amount of time. However, he’s still holding up the divorce proceedings. Of course, divorce does drag out longer than usual on soaps.
