Y&R Spoilers: Who Wins The Fight – Phyllis Or Diane?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) decided to step out of the shadows. She wants to clear her name as part of another plan to earn redemption. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) wants to focus on what she reclaimed when performing her own comeback story. Marriage to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) shortly, helping Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) stabilize his life, caring for her grandson, Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), and helping what will be her family business are priorities.

Regardless of what they said in front of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) or to anyone else, Phyllis and Diane want to win. That likely means one of them falls.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phoenix Attempts To Rise Again

Phyllis famously returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin, in 2019. She intended to reestablish her brand and did so in an impressive fashion.

But Phyllis sold her signature comeback vehicle, The Grand Phoenix Hotel, as part of a misguided effort to bring Diane down. Phyllis, not Diane, created her downfall.

This attempted rise will be much harder because Phyllis’ children’s trust was deeply damaged, and Jack’s head was turned by Diane since last year.

Plus, Phyllis was coerced to accept a deal Tucker forced upon her that trades her potentially beating a murder rap in exchange for re-engaging with Diane.

Y&R Spoilers – Everyone Is In The Middle

Tucker and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) are playing games with each other as their supposed remarriage plans bleed through the summer. Part of their schemes involves using Phyllis as a torpedo against Diane.

Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) lost her husband and family because she maintained her mother’s secret. Kyle thought himself into a corner, deciding that Summer’s choice was too much. So, he intends to divorce her.

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) benefited from his mother’s insertion of herself into his life. Phyllis is the reason why his daughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), and former significant other, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), returned to GC.

Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) were outraged that their supposed longtime friend, Phyllis, hoodwinked them, along with everyone else, into believing she was dead. But they are always ready to forgive.

The Abbott family’s suspicion of Phyllis is equally matched by its disdain for Diane. Yet, Jack does not care.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Has Far Fewer Allies

Diane is the current underdog in this fight. She simply has fewer people supporting her cause. Jack, Kyle, and Michael represent her support system.

Phyllis has won more battles in GC. But that number arguably exists because she has been in town for a total length of time that tops Diane’s.

However, someone who plays the odds could argue this fight is a push and not worth a bet on Y&R.
