The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is charging ahead in business. His firstborn child, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) backs her father’s desire to buy McCall Unlimited’s debt. She has also begun personally testing Newman Media’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Braeden’s character went to see Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) when that scoundrel returned to town. The Moustache was great friends with Tucker’s mother, the Grande Dame Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). But Victor recognizes nothing other than a biological link between his late friend and the recast character St. John now plays.

Victor is the big dog in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Katherine initially recruited him to help her run Chancellor Industries in the years following her husband’s death.

Braeden’s character later founded his business, Newman Enterprises. That multinational conglomerate has its hands in many business ventures, with Victor always considering other items on the asset menu.

Tucker’s reputation is shady. His business has been known for international dealings but apparently has been dealing with financial issues. So, the heavy debt load provides an opportunity for Victor to swoop.

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Thinks About Herself

Victor gave her dad an ultimatum in the recent past. He could accept her demand and make her CEO, or she would leave.

Victoria was thrilled when her dad agreed and allowed her to sit on the throne. But the old boy did not retire and has kept his nose in the details, as any wise leader should.

Taking over the family business allows Victoria to learn from her father while he is still alive and kicking. Victor’s health issues enabled the transition, with Victoria coming into her own.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Is Unaware

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) had no idea that her relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was fragile while she was offering advice to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

Nate acted with no remorse when he pursued Elena while she was supposedly committed to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). The bottle of liquor he and Victoria shared helped to fuel their kiss. But that excuse does not explain the afterhours mistake both people made.

It would be reasonable to believe that Victor’s greed, Victoria’s bravado, and Nate’s latest indiscretion will result in consequences. But whether any of that trio faces reprisal will soon be seen on Y&R.
