Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is the only one who knows what Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been up to with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He caught them hot and heavy on her office desk and warned them both that this little office affair is going to backfire on them both. That didn’t matter much to Victoria because now she has Nate thinking about leaving town with her for a few days — ostensibly for business.

When Nick learns this latest news, he is ready to blow a gasket with his sister, but Victoria warns him that she needs to be loyal to his family and she is his family. She calls this a test of sorts and proves she can give as good as she gets when she has some comments about Nick’s own questionable love life with Sally Spectra.

Meanwhile, Nate is ready to throw caution to the win and take Victoria up on her offer, but he is not about to let Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) know what he is up to. Instead, he is going to lie to and cheat on this woman he supposedly loves with all his heart.

Well, the joke might be on Nate because Elena suspects what might be going on here and has her own plans to make sure Victoria doesn’t get her man. But how will she feel if she catches Victoria and Nate in the act?

With Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) being the only one privy to the information that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive and well, Summer is also the only person who can help Phyllis and Phyllis still wants to bring down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for no real reason.

She makes her arguments to Summer on why she should help her mom and this time, Summer seems game. Why don’t we just call this the end of Summer and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) marriage now?
