Victoria fought hard for the throne when she went to the point of destroying her father’s portrait several years ago to become sole CEO of Newman Enterprises.

It’s not a position that she would easily have given up-but then she and Victor became embroiled in a power struggle that saw her demoted to co-CEO with Victor.

That was a position previously held by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) until she chose to replace him with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

But lately, Victoria and Nick, as well as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) have been very concerned about Victor’s mental health. They’ve suspected everything from dementia to brain tumors but when the truth comes out, they’ll all be mad.

Y & R Spoilers – This Is A Test-Only A Test..

It will be revealed by Nick, who figures it out that Victor is playing mind games with his family by making them think he’s lost his mind! It’s all a fake, and he did it to test their loyalty and now none of them trust him, after all their worry over him.

Victoria will not take this affront likely, and she will be furious, especially considering he tried to trap her into a betrayal; Nate’s loyalty will also be tested.

That could imply Victoria will resign rather than put up with Victor’s ridiculous behavior and tests, and Nate will have to decide to quit with her.

Nate is happy working for Newman Enterprises but that happiness hinges on his working with Victoria-if she’s gone, more than likely he’ll follow.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman’s Scheme Set To Backfire

Victor’s scheme may be set to backfire, driving his children away from him instead of ensuring their loyalty-Nick’s already to the point of again wanting nothing to do with the business.

It’s not the first time Nick struck out on his own and did his own thing, once running a nightclub that unfortunately burnt down, and later his Dark Horse business.

Victoria is pushed beyond her limits and her ambitions by Victor’s sheer cruelty in playing this sick game, and she may well resign and take Nate with her!

What kind of father makes his children worry for his health, whether physical or mental, and even fools the former family physician, Nate?

A father who wants to control them and their lives, even to the point of deciding which air they breathe, and they’re all sick of it!
