Y&R Spoilers: Victoria Is Like Victor – How Long Can Nate Survive?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) accepted the demotion her father forced. She is also tolerating Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) compliance with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) wishes.

Victoria rationalizes Victor’s quixotic decisions because that is what the Moustache has always done. He is arguably harder on his family members than his business rivals. But Victoria’s willingness to accept Nate’s stance on Victor’s choices, which includes allowing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to be his assistant, is pushing her to the limit.

Victoria and the brother she likes, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), rejected Adam’s addition when he first came to Genoa City, Wisconsin. In real-time, that was 2008.

While Victoria and Nick generally respected Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman), they also did not see her as a threat because she chose to return to her farm in Kansas with Adam when he was a baby.

Adam’s return, post-college graduation and after some time spent on Wall Street, was a different animal.

Sibling rivalry with Adam was set the moment he moved to town. Victoria was no longer the favored child or even the only namesake, as Victor Adam Newman Junior was given access to the family business by their father.

Y&R Spoilers – Nate Hastings Is Ambitious But Loving

Yes, Nate is ambitious. He admits that, though his cousins do not believe a word he says since making a mid-career transition from medicine to business.

Victoria’s icy persona is perfect for the corporate world. Her demeanor matches the one Nate now sports, which is one reason why this pair became more than friends.

But Nate is falling in love with Victoria and sees a future with her. Yet, Heinle’s character has a poor romance record with various guys going off the rails. The pressures of being involved with the Newman family were never cited for blame in those instances but were connected.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Recalculating

Victoria feels it is too late in the game to leave Newman Enterprises once more. She has done that many times, with this time it appears to be different.

While Victor demoted her, she still holds the co-Chief Executive Officer title. That and her father’s advancing age make it a good bet to embrace patience.

Recalculating also includes the expectation that Adam will implode. So, Victoria does not need Nate to do anything that would give her disliked brother any opening on Y&R.
