Y&R Spoilers: Victor Not Backing Down, Ruins Newman Enterprise’s Legacy?

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) should have enjoyed his nice, quiet retirement, but instead he has found a way to interfere with everyone’s lives and continues to think that he is the big dog.

Sure, we all know and love Victor and he’s been a staple of the show for decades, blah, blah, blah. At what point does it just become sad and satire? He’s barely able to speak, he whispers everything he says and makes everything worse for his children.

Just look at the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) situation. A clear sign of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) not meaning to kill Ashland after a punch, involuntary manslaughter at worse, but Victor comes in and moves a body, tampering with a crime scene and nearly makes things worse. Lucky for him, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was sleeping with his daughter, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) so he kept quiet.

What more is there for Victor to do at this point and why would he want to do anything? He has grandchildren, a beautiful home and is retired. Enjoy time with your wife instead of trying to micromanage your children.

It’s time for Victor to take a back seat, and as much as you may disagree with me, he’s past his prime. He needs to make some cider and take his tylenol before he pulls a muscle lifting up his head.

Y&R Spoilers – Who Is Next In The Spot?

There are plenty of people who could step up to fill that kind of a spot, and Victor would still be around, he just wouldn’t be mumbling his lines to a cast that can’t hear or understand him. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is my pick, as I think he can do several things and has a bright future ahead of him. Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) coaching him along the way and keeping Victor at bay so Adam can learn would be a really cool storyline.

Jack and Adam have been closer to a father and son than Adam and Victor have, so let’s make it happen.
