Y&R Spoilers: Victor Newman Makes Sally Lose Her Baby?

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint Sally Spectra’s pregnancy could hit a major speedbump in coming weeks on the CBS soap opera.  Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may finally be warming up to the idea of becoming a mother and to a baby Newman.  But her baby’s future Grandpa, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), is still not on board with the pregnancy.

Y&R spoilers hint that Victor Newman does not take kindly to not getting his way.  And, if he doesn’t want Sally Spectra to have a baby with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and/.or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), then he is going to do everything in his power to see that she doesn’t. But, how far will Victor really go?

Over the years the CBS soap opera has always tried to portray Eric Braeden’s character as a heartless patriarch that will stop at nothing to get his way.  Victor Newman has certainly mellowed out with old age, but that doesn’t mean that he has lost all his spunk, and Sally Spectra is on the verge of finding out just who she is dealing with.

It’s not beneath Victor Newman to try and bribe Sally to disappear and leave town with baby Newman, since she clearly is set on having the baby.  But, Sally Spectra is no chump, and there probably is not a dollar amount she would agree to disappear.  Victor Newman may have met his match (finally).

The Young and the Restless rumors hint that Sally’s pregnancy may take a dark turn.  We all know that soap opera pregnancies have a very slim survival rate as it is.  In fact, the percentages of pregnancies compared to actual births and live babies joining the shows are very slim.

So, it’s not absurd to think that Sally may have a miscarriage or some sort of medical issue that causes her to lose her baby.  And, rumor has it Victor Newman’s campaign against Sally is what pushes her stress to the max, and his own sons blame him for losing the baby.
