The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was sick of watching his grown children run roughshod over his company so he took over, installing himself CEO of Newman Enterprises once again and installing Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as CEO of Newman Media. Together, they can rule the roost and show their kids how it’s done.

Still, Nikki is hopeful that it will all work out but also worried that it won’t. Yes, she is getting along with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) now and hired Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to work with her, but it’s a lot of change in a short amount of time.

Will Nikki be satisfied when Victor promises her that he knows what he is doing and that things are going to be better than ever?

For the moment, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is pretending to be ok with her new position as co-CEO of Newman and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is pretending to be ok with Adam Newman as his new assistant.

However, both Nate and Victoria are not happy at all and compare notes on their new predicaments.

Will they finally decide to branch out on their own or will Nate stay where his bread is buttered at Newman? Nate is usually looking out for number one and this time is no exception.
