Y&R Spoilers: Victor Closing In – Tucker Out Of Options

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been working behind the scenes, as he typically does, to engineer a forced outcome to his direct advantage.

Creating the Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) Jazz Lounge at the Genoa City Athletic Club was inspired. Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) did that to honor their departed friend during the bicentennial celebration of Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Victor was working a concurrent angle, believing the unveiling of the tribute to Neil at the gala would alter the trajectory of Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) relationship. As hoped, Neil’s children committed to resolving their differences which had direct business implications.

Devon met with Victor shortly after the eventful gala festivities that included the seeming death of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Their talk at Society included Devon thanking Victor for honoring the only man he considered to be his father.

Victor appreciated Devon’s words and what followed. James’ character told Victor he understood the other part of the plan.

The emotional play was aimed at enabling Devon to remain with Chancellor-Winters. That went along with Victor’s recent efforts to dissuade Devon from purchasing McCall Unlimited.

Y&R Spoilers – The Moustache Nearing Victory

Victor said he was pleased with how everything turned out. Devon’s decision to have CW be his only family business interest means that Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) pained hopes are likely dashed.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers,  Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) pushed Tucker to sell his company to Devon. She gained power over Tucker by outmaneuvering Victor in obtaining McCall Unlimited’s outstanding debt. Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) anticipated doing the same but were blocked.

Yet, Victor has learned to work multiple angles when pursuing a goal. The same was true of his intention to have Newman Enterprises take control of Tucker’s company until Victoria withdrew her backing. She did so after Tucker reinforced that Newman Enterprises acquiring McCall Unlimited was not good business sense.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Is The Favored Son

Tucker has a broken relationship with his biological son, Devon. Victor has a tumultuous relationship with his youngest son, Adam.

Devon told Tucker that the choice to keep CW means he has no interest in buying McCall Unlimited. That decision could make Victor the best option Tucker has left.

If Tucker sells to Victor in haste, Adam should head whatever McCall Unlimited will become. But Victor may need to use his assets to make that happen on Y&R.
