Diane met Tucker when she was living in Los Angeles, California. But she also encountered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) during that period in the plot when all characters were off-screen.

Digitally skipping to the current day, Jack has forgiven Diane and wants to marry her soon. Along with that, he has embraced her idea that she be a prominent player at Jabot.

Instead, Ashley believes Diane has Jack’s head spinning. Her ascension at Jabot is seen as a threat to the company’s stability and a family killer.

Billy told Jack that Tucker’s remarriage to Ashley would make him eligible for a Jabot Board seat. So, the sibling rivalry between Jack and Ashley goes on, with Tucker and Diane along for the ride or driving the car, depending upon one’s point of view on Y&R.
