Tucker wants to be a father figure to Devon and be a presence in his grandson Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) life. If Phyllis endangers that proposition Tucker could turn deadly.

Not that Tucker would get his hands dirty, he would have someone else neutralize Phyllis if it came to that. But he has means and motive for getting rid of Phyllis especially if it means keeping his family relationships intact.

Tucker is thrilled that he has been invited into Devon’s life and he’s made even made it a point of attending Dominic’s music classes.

But there is another reason why Tucker might resort to violence, he may be facing criminal charges due to his partnership with Mamie.

It’s hard to picture Mamie breaking the law, but since she’s been back in Genoa City, Wisconsin, she seems to have grown a spine and clearly she is capable of deception.

She bought Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) Chancellor-Winters share and despite her family, including Devon, being suspicious of her motives, she has not come clean about her partnership with Tucker.

She claims to want to reunite the family under the C-W umbrella, but there has to be more to her story if she’s teaming up with a master manipulator.
