Y&R Spoilers: Tucker McCall Is The Newest Fall Guy In Genoa City

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is the target of multiple attacks. He is the new fall guy in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and arguably does not deserve all the fire he faces.

Tucker was gone for approximately a decade in real-time. The soap-time length is a bit murkier, as daytime dramas exist on different calendars on the other side of the screen.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is displeased with everyone except his biological son and Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). But that offers Tucker little solace because he is desperate for his son’s embrace.

Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) taught his adopted son to be tough but not unfair. It is reasonable to assert that Devon is treating Tucker with a level of disrespect that he does not deserve.

Tucker was not part of Devon’s life during his childhood. Devon appeared to have gotten past that when they first connected more than a decade ago.

However, the friction they endured while forming their initial relationship, following the paternity reveal, was followed by Tucker being out of town for years. So, Devon does not know his father and therefore feels no loyalty to him.

Y&R Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Was Playing A Partial Game

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) told Tucker a partial lie. She witnessed Devon storm into Tucker’s Grand Phoenix hotel room and soon stormed out herself.

Learning about Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) plant inside Chancellor-Winters was not cause to break off what appeared to be a reviving relationship. But Ashley felt that news reinforced her suspicions.

Telling Tucker that his perception of their reconciliation represented her pulling one over on him was not true. That was a defense mechanism Ashley used because she wanted to feel hurt and because Tucker offered conflicting stories about his intentions toward Jabot.

Along with the above, various people are aiming at Tucker’s business interests. So, he is also defending that front.

Hopefully, TPTB wants St. John to be an indefinite part of the cast. This veteran daytime actor is a major hit, adding to the already talented ensemble.

Tucker does love Ashley, no matter what she thinks. In time she should give him another chance, with remarriage potential, or at least a revived romantic relationship, plausible later this year.

As for Devon, he and Tucker have more in common than James’ character can currently admit. Neil’s memory must not overshadow what is available to Devon right now.

Projecting more normal relations between Tucker and Devon is also not hard on Y&R.
