Y&R Spoilers: Tucker Frames Billy – Jack Suspects Foul Play

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) assumed he would easily exploit Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) reputation.

But Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may not be swallowing the bait like Ashley Abbott McCall’s (Eileen Davidson) supposedly estranged husband hoped. Billy did not embezzle a large sum of money from Jabot’s account as Tucker made it appear.

The information Jack just received from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Billy’s two run-ins with Tucker and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at the Genoa City Athletic Club undermine the intended setup.

Tucker may have been plotting to take Jabot all along. It is hard to determine what his true plan may have been.

Viewers do know that he is confident in the outcome, as Tucker has already offered Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) a returned, key position with him. St. John’s character, sans McCall Unlimited, wants back in the action.

Reverting to his sneaky personality type, Tucker is demonstrably angry. The audience saw him alone, in his GCAC suite, leave a heated message for Ashley, followed by one where he searched for answers. Their break appeared confirmed as a result.

Y&R Spoilers – Billy Abbott Is An Easy Target?

Tucker is not the mastermind he thinks himself to be. Why, for example, would he make a big deal about having found himself in the outer areas of the globe and then ruin the work he did on himself?

The answer to the above question involves self-control. He lacks it, and that is his character flaw.

Ashley’s misgivings reflected instinct. She knows him like few others do. Only Tucker’s mother, the late great Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), and his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), are in Ashley’s category.

So, Tucker’s ease in forcing Phyllis to hack into Billy’s and Jabot’s bank accounts, to create a faux embezzlement, is par for the soapy course.

It plays into Billy’s past ill-advised run at Jabot when, among other things, he purchased Jaboat, which forever ranks as one of the more hilarious bits of dialogue.

Jack has been around the block many times. That experience allows him to know Tucker is a likely villain in this scenario.

Billy is imploring his brother to question what appears to be a betrayal but is a trap. Tucker wants to pit the Abbott family against itself as part of his plan to take Jabot on Y&R.
