The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was surprised by Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) kiss. His presence in the Abbott mansion has increased since she revealed herself as his debt owner.

Tucker’s suggestion, that he use proceeds of the hoped-for sale to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for charitable purposes, was well received. Ashley wants to believe Tucker has changed and is trying to lead him toward good-guy territory because she loves him.

Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) took her father’s directive and ran with it. Her arrival at Devon’s penthouse door was met with suspicion and scorn.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Devon knows that Victoria worked with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to attempt to take Chancellor-Winters from him, Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton), and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). The current Chief Executive Officer of Newman Enterprises is determined to fend off all suitors and obtain McCall Unlimited.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) later told his daughter they needed to do whatever it takes to get Tucker’s company. She bristled when learning her brother, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), would run it as a standalone company. Her later tell to Nate indicated that Victoria planned to find a way to keep McCall Unlimited under the Newman Enterprises umbrella.

Tucker believed in fate when Devon texted him moments after Ashley offered the kiss. St. John’s character’s questions about his ability to meet her demand and sell his company to Devon turned around in that soapy moment.

But Tucker did not know that Victoria was busy planting seeds of doubt in Devon’s mind. Thankfully for Tucker, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), who is not a fan, told Devon she believes his biological father’s heart is in the right place.

Abby is swayed by Devon’s mixed moods and her mother’s hope for Tucker’s growth. Her influence convinced him to hear his dad out again because he now sees an acquisition of McCall Unlimited as something to have in his back pocket if the lawsuit against CW goes south.

Ashley is a bit of a puzzle. The audience is with Tucker, knowing that part of her heart is reserved for him. Viewers also sense she could jet back to France if everything does not fall into place as she wants.

Tucker has owned his mistakes and also admitted he needs advice on how to be a father. He told Ashley she is the one woman who makes him a better human being.

Viewers will be watching to see what happens to all involved parties in this layered storyline, no matter what happens to Tucker’s company in the coming days on Y&R.
