Elena Dawson (Brytno Sarpy) has had quite enough of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and her intense interest in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

She believes that Nae loves her but she also realizes that Victoria won’t stop until she gets Nate to betray Elena in the same way she and Nate betrayed Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Hey, these things happen right? Well, yes, unless someone is proactive.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has enjoyed poking the bear and letting Elena know there are things about Victoria that might be interesting to her, especially when it comes to Vicky’s ex-husband, JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill), a man who caused much trouble the last time he was around.

When the incident about Phyllis’s ambulance crash affects them, Elena becomes more spooked that the old Nate might be lost to them.

They try to help medically and when Elena reminisces about their working together like this in the past, Nate stops short and tells her that is their old life.

“I think Nate is defensive because he knows Elena’s perspective before she even voices it and defending his dynamic with Victoria goes along with his fixation with succeeding,” Brytni Sarpy said in the April 10, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “So, it’s no surprise or red flag for Elena.

Y&R Spoilers – Elena Dawson Takes Action

It might not be a red flag, but Nate’s attitude is becoming way too much and she wants it to end, so she seriously thinks about what Audra has said about JT. That prompts Elena to go looking to see what he really meant to Victoria. When she goes digging, she is surprised by what she sees.

Remember, JT was abusive to Victoria the last time they were together and that led to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to whack him over the head with a fireplace poker and then four ladies believed he was dead.

When JT turned up alive a year later, his abusive actions were explained by a brain tumor, but is he cured now? If Elena keeps looking, we might find out… Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.
