Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease some romance during the soap’s 50th-anniversary celebrations. Everyone in town is gearing up for the bicentennial gala, and there’s sure to be major drama that explodes within certain storylines. But the real question is, who will end up hooking up before the event comes to an end?

Y&R spoilers hint that “friends” Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will cross a line at the gala event. These two have gotten closer and closer since Daniel’s returned, and while they’ve agreed to stay friends, looks like they could get caught up in emotions come the bicentennial. They are certainly the obvious coupling to do the deed, and it wouldn’t be overly shocking if Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) also decided to move out of the friends’ zone and into something romantic.

But there could be other couples, too.

According to Y&R spoilers, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is not only keen on Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford) helping him bring Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) down, but he also seems to be fond of Red for other reasons. There’s an odd spark between these schemers and if they score one against Jenkins, they could decide to dive into bed to celebrate.

Then there’s Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) juggling three women who have feelings for him, which include girlfriend Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Nate’s likely to get distracted and cheat on Elena with either Vicky or Audra, but it seems likelier that he’ll cross a line with his colleague versus his boss.

Plus, fans can’t ignore the feelings that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) can’t shake when it comes to her ex and baby’s daddy, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). While she’s with his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could the two parents-to-be find themselves tempted by the lights and music at the gala? Then again, fans can’t discount the bond growing between Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). What if they get swept away and decide to throw caution to the wind?
