Aunt Jordan’s sinister plot may not kill Nikki Newman, but it will do irreparable damage to her and her family.

Nikki’s struggles with alcohol have been well documented over the decades.  While it wasn’t her fault she relapsed, the Newman Matriarch’s sobriety will go out the window.

Drunk Nikki Newman makes for good soaps, but is horrible for her relationships with her husband and kids.

The Young and the Restless viewers can expect to see her struggle with drinking again, and create some major drunken drama.

The fallout from Nikki falling off the wagon is only the tip of the iceberg.  Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) long lost daughter Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) return will bring a ton of drama as well, and if her grandmother isn’t sober, that will just make the situation more messy.

Victoria Newman will struggle with the idea that she had a child out there this whole time, and missed out on her whole life, which is to be expected.  And, she can’t even lean on her mom right now for help because she is battling her own demons.

Y&R rumors hint that Claire makes the situation worse because she has been clearly brainwashed by Aunt Jordan.
