Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is married to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so now Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is married to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Sometimes it feels like Jack and Ashley decided to wed just to make the other one angry, but here we are.

Tucker and Ashley feel like they hit paydirt with their union and devise a brand-new plan to stay on top. Will that plan involve hurting other family members for their own gains?

They think they are going to have an amazing future together, but they also need to learn not to get too cocky and not count their chickens before they hatch.

Meanwhile, Diane devises her own plan to impress Jack. She is determined to prove herself, which will in turn prove Tucker and Ashley wrong. What is Diane really up to and will it end up backfiring in her face?

So far, she has gotten everything she has wanted since returning from the dead and to Genoa City. Her luck has to run out some time, right?

That is all Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley have wanted for more than a year, but so far, it hasn’t happened.

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) seems like a changed woman. She is certainly not the con who arrived in GC more than a decade ago ready to get her hands on money in any way she could.

Tragedies, depression, and an attempted suicide made her start 2023 differently than ever before, and now luck seems to be on her side. She is earning respect and even earned Billy Abbott (Jason Thomson).

On Friday, the new Chelsea is put to the test — specifically, her parenting skills. Chelsea always does he best to put her children first, but it hasn’t always worked out.

What challenge will she be presented with this time and will she be able to pass the test and impress the people who still doubt her?
