Y&R Spoilers: Summer’s Horrible Spring Worsens – Kyle Informs Diane

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) continues to live in a state of shock. Reeling from the perceived murder of her mother, Summer’s world was reversed when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) appeared to her in Chancellor Park.

The wild scenario Phyllis unloaded on Summer was too much to bear. It pushed her daughter over a mental edge which Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) knows.

Summer’s equally embattled husband was caught defending his mother purely based on hope. But Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) revelation gave Kyle the proof he needed.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Deserved Better

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) did not challenge the notion that she was responsible for the ill will she faced in Genoa City, Wisconsin, following her return from the dead last year.

But Diane was not tolerant of Phyllis, who hounded her since Walters’ character returned from Los Angeles, California, where she had been living under the assumed name Taylor Jensen. Diane’s association with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) led to her learning he was using her as a money laundering mule.

Phyllis sought Jeremy out and initially refused to admit she did so. But Jeremy persisted, and eventually Phyllis agreed to conspire with him to frame Diane.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Is Gone

Phyllis is not herself. After realizing that she recklessly agreed to work with a maniac, Jeremy, Phyllis tried to end their plan.

Jeremy would not permit Phyllis to tell her children she faked her death because that would have led to him being arrested. Her promise not to do so led to him confronting her with scissors in the hotel room.

Survival instinct allowed Phyllis to defend her life and end Jeremy’s. So, her problem switched from announcing her existence to avoiding being charged with Jeremy’s murder.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Tells Diane Jenkins The Truth

Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) warned Kyle not to tell Diane about Phyllis being alive. While Kyle agreed to go along with the ruse until Phyllis could be located, he told his mother the truth.

Diane deserves that crucial information, regardless of whatever Michael, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), or anyone, including Summer, thinks. But Summer will see Kyle’s choice to side with Diane as further evidence that he does not care about Phyllis’ fate or respect Summer’s take on the situation on Y&R.
