Y&R Spoilers: Summer’s Animosity Toward Sharon Bubbles During Nick’s Medical Emergency

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest the proverbial poop is about to hit the fan in Genoa City.

Right now, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) are embroiled in a heated love triangle. Shance is a couple, and while Summer is in the friends’ zone with the cop, she’s hoping they can become more.

Still, the other part of this equation is the fact that Sharon has played a stepmother role in Summer’s life. Ms. Rosales has a very close relationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), so how will Super Girl feel when Sharon is by Nick’s side during his latest crisis?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers  – Nick Newman’s Medical Emergency

Y&R spoilers hint that Nick could face a medical emergency. After all, he’s currently caught up in the lake house drama, and it looks like Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will stab him when tensions get high and the Newman clan, plus Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) try to escape.

If Nick is fighting for his life, Sharon will be by his side. Summer will be there too, but it’ll be hard for her not to be a tad resentful that Ms. Rosales is on the scene.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman’s Frustration Bubbles Over

Summer won’t be upset that Sharon’s there for her dad, she understands their unique and special friendship.

Still, as Nick doesn’t have a girlfriend right now, Sharon could slip into that “significant other” role where Nick is concerned and likely be by his side the entire time he’s in the hospital.

There’s also a chance that someone will need to take care of Nick, and as his parents and sister will be reeling from the lake house events, or possibly require medical attention, too, Sharon will step in as his caretaker; something she did not do for Chance.

Summer will resent the fact that Sharon has a boyfriend but is going above and beyond for her dad.

While she loves her dad, she’ll feel as if Sharon is overstepping, and it’ll be “proof” in Summer’s mind that Chance deserves a girlfriend who will make him a number one priority.
