Y&R Spoilers: Summer Rebounds With Chance?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) could very well rebound with an unattached Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). The question would be whether Chance would rebound with Summer, considering she’s almost family-Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) is her aunt.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer Newman-Abbott Is Vulnerable

Summer is pretty vulnerable and needs someone to lean on, but Chance is just freshly divorced from Summer’s aunt Abby, so the last few years he’s been her uncle in law.

They’re not that far apart in age, however, Summer 29 and Chance 35-Abby is 34 so a relationship between Summer and Chance might be feasible. But Chance, wisely, will probably relate to her as a niece, at least until she’s been distanced from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for a while.

Chance won’t want to rush into anything with anyone and won’t think Summer should either, rebound relationships usually don’t work out, but for all his caution he might.

Too often people who rebound subconsciously replace the ones they’ve lost with the new ones, and that’s not fair to anyone and not really healthy.

Y & R Spoilers: Rebound Isn’t Always Intentional

Rebound isn’t always intentional, but Summer finds out Kyle is cheating and that’s the final straw; and it’s with the girl that broke Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) heart.

She sees them together in the Genoa City Athletic Club and overhears Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) bold ask-“what can I do to make you mine?” She confronts Kyle, telling him he couldn’t even wait until they were divorced to move on!

Kyle doesn’t even care-accusing Summer of choosing her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) over him even though Phyllis’ reveal got his mother’s charges dropped!

A broken heart looks to be healed, regardless of plan; so not only might Summer rebound with Chance, Chance might rebound with Summer-they both were cheated on.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Convoluted Situations

If Chance and Summer rebound with each other, it could turn into a kind of convoluted situation for Chance-he’s preferred to get away from the Newman machine.

He didn’t like it when he was forced by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to write up Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death as a car accident, after Victor rigged it. But if he and Summer rebound with each other and it sticks, he’s trading a Victor daughter for a Victor granddaughter and he might interfere even more.

But the heart wants what the heart wants, and broken, empty hearts want to be filled to ease the pain as soon as possible. Summer and Chance’s situations are perfectly in place for them to rebound with each other.
