Y&R Spoilers: Summer On Edge – Diane Drama Threatens Her Marriage And Relationship With Phyllis

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is having a tough time with the stress Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is creating in her life. Her marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is on shaky ground. She is having trouble seeing eye-to-eye with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Summer vented about the situation to her brother Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Graziadei), stating she felt like she had to go along with the smear campaign against Phyllis to protect her marriage. But she’s tired of it and wants to call Diane out for being such a liar and schemer.

Summer finds Phyllis at the glam club after their huge argument at the Abbott house. Y&R spoilers state that Summer asks to speak to Phyllis so they can clear up a few misunderstandings. Of course, Phyllis refuses to talk to her daughter, making Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) feel uncomfortable about being in the middle of the disagreement.

Ashley excuses herself, giving Summer a few minutes to chat with her mother. Phyllis refused to talk about Diane, questioning why Summer lied to her about hiding Diane at the cabin. As Summer tries to explain, Daniel shows up. Phyllis uses Daniel’s arrival as an excuse to leave without settling anything with her daughter.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Summer comes unglued when discussing the drama Diane caused with their mother. All she wanted was to protect her marriage; now, she has to turn her back on her mom to make Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle happy.
