Y&R Spoilers: Summer Newman Abbott Vs. Mariah Copeland, Rivalry Re-Ignites

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that there will be more drama on the horizon for Skyle, in the aftermath of secrets exposed. One major fallout in this entire storyline could be the goodwill shared between Summer Abbott Newman (Alison Lanier) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). The ladies never got along; however, they were able to bury the hatchet for a little while after Skyle returned from Italy.

Once Summer finds out that Mariah triggered Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) into turning her and her mom in, all bets may be off.

Kyle sat on the information about Summer and her mom Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) for a little while. He debated back and forth on what to do, before running into his bestie, Mariah.

Many Y&R fans were upset at what went down during the two’s conversation. Copeland painted Summer as a toxic person that Kyle should “protect” against his son Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), and almost pushed him into exposing Summer and Red to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

Kyle not only led Chance to the GCAC hotel suite he believed Phyllis was at, but he also threw Summer under the bus and told the cop she had known about her mom being alive, all along.

Summer has been too busy this week trying to find EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) to truly digest what her husband did.

At some point, she’ll either run into Mariah and it will all slip, or Kyle will tell Summer about the conversation he had with Copeland, and playing nice with her hubby’s bestie will be over. In fact, their old rivalry could be re-ignited.

But the bigger question is, if Skyle makes it through their latest marital woes, will Summer be able to mend fences with Mariah like they did the last time?
