Y&R Spoilers: Summer Newman-Abbott Hooks Up With Chance Chancellor

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers promise more shockers on the horizon in the land of Genoa City. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) likely never anticipated all the recent craziness that has occurred since faking her own death. Her kids have been distraught, as their world has flipped upside down; however, could this also affect Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman-Abbott & Kyle Abbott Are At Complete Odds

Y&R spoilers tease that Sklye will continue to be at odds. When Phyllis was alive, the two fought a lot recently over their mothers’ rivalry. Now that Phyllis is “dead” and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has been pinned for the murder, things may only get worse.

Summer is mourning her mom’s passing, and struggling with the loss of Red. Her animosity towards Diane has grown since Phyllis’s death and will only increase now that her mother-in-law has been arrested for poisoning her mom. At the same time, while Kyle wants to “be there” for his wife, he trusts that his mother is innocent. This entire thing is a recipe for disaster where Skyle is concerned.

Y&R Spoilers – Chance Comforts Summer, Could Something More Come Of This?

Y&R spoilers imply that Kyle will soon see Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) comforting Summer. Interestingly enough, added teasers hint that Kyle will start ranting about Chance. He believes his mom has been wrongfully arrested, so seeing the cop that handcuffed her, comforting his wife, will set him off. Kyle will even accuse Chancellor of “planting” ideas in his Summer’s head. This scene could foreshadow a possible relationship between Chance and Summer, in the near future.

After all, the two have been sharing more scenes together since Phyllis’s death as Red is Summer’s mom and Chance is the lead cop in her murder investigation. While there’s seemingly something “going on” between Chancellor and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that doesn’t mean he and Summer couldn’t cross a line. Bed hopping is a major occurrence in the little town.
