Y&R Spoilers: Summer Does Not Want Help – Phyllis Trying To Meddle Again!

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Summer Newman Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) life was violently disrupted. The aftereffects proved to be devastating.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) holds his wife accountable for their marriage being wrecked. He convinced himself that Summer’s inability to tell him that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was alive was unforgivable.

Now, with Phyllis seeking redemption, she also wants to make amends by helping Summer repair her relationship with Kyle.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Highlights

Phyllis was foolish. She allowed herself to descend into an irrational state where Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) became the target.

Stafford’s character quickly fell from what could have been a reconciliation through to marriage with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and a good relationship with her children to conspiring with a hardcore criminal, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

The destruction Phyllis created resonated. Summer’s marriage was wrecked, and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is leery of reconciling with his mother because of her pattern of behavior.

Phyllis hopes to re-pair Daniel with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Summer with Kyle.

Daniel is currently with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and does have remnant feelings for Heather but, like Summer, does not want his mother injecting herself into personal matters.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Is No Peach

Kyle got carried away. Sure, he was justified in being angry at Summer but his inability to empathize with her position was unconscionable.

He appears incapable of understanding that Summer’s mind was blown when Phyllis decided to let her know that she was not poisoned by Diane.

Lanier’s character existed in a frazzled state during the period when Phyllis was preserving her death hoax while attempting to devise a comeback plan.

The pressure Phyllis put on Summer should have led Kyle to forgive his wife because she needed his help. Instead, Kyle became callous and has pursued a self-serving agenda since.

Like her brother, Summer is hesitant to bond with Phyllis. She does not want to let her mother fully back in because doing so could lead to another burn.

It feels as though Summer will not take Phyllis’ advice regarding Kyle. Summer seems intent on following through on his desire to divorce.

It is possible that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could become a romantic option. That would be a way to both move on from Kyle and respond to him on Y&R.
