The Young and The Restless spoilers indicate that Summer was reacting out of grief when she confronted Diane in jail. Diane had just been denied bail after being set up for Phyllis Summer’s (Michelle Stafford) murder. However, Summer cannot unsee Diane choking her mother and saying she should kill her.

However, Summer will soon find out that her mother is alive and well. Summer is going to feel pretty bad about the rant she gave Diane.

Diane was truly innocent this time and seeing Phyllis alive and well will prove that. Will Phyllis admit to helping Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) set Diane up for her fake death? After all, Phyllis was in on the whole plan from the start.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Abbott Was Convinced Of Diane’s Guilt

Summer was so convinced of Diane’s guilt that she didn’t believe that Jeremy was involved at all. However, if Phyllis plays her cards right, she could come out as the hero.

Well, she could have if she hadn’t moved Stark’s body anyway. Up until that part, Phyllis could have claimed self-defense for Stark’s death.

When Stark tried to kill Phyllis, she had no choice but to defend herself. However, Phyllis could have called that law and told them Jeremy kidnapped and attacked her and faked her death.

Phyllis could have spun a story that would have completely cleared her name but she didn’t do that. Can Phyllis prove she didn’t murder Stark now?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summer May End Up In Prison

After faking her death and killing Jeremy, Phyllis may find herself behind bars instead of Diane. After all, Phyllis is the one who helped set Diane up.

Phyllis could have covered her tracks so much better than this. How could Phyllis have allowed herself to go along with this stupid plan? Can Phyllis get herself out of this?

Once Stark’s body is found, the shoe may be on the other foot with Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Kyle will no doubt have a lot to say to Phyllis after the whole story comes out.

Will Phyllis and Summer mend their relationship after she learns what Phyllis has done? Will Kyle ever forgive Phyllis for her part in this?
