The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Danny Romalotti Called Lily Winters

When Daniel was spinning out the night the news of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) death was announced, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) called Lily. He knew that Lily could comfort and reach a deep place in his son that no one else could, and when Lily got the call, she rushed to his side. Lily spent the whole night with Daniel, even crawling into his bed and comforting him with hugs the whole night, easily able to relate to the loss of a parent.

Lily’s parents are both gone, the man she knew as father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) whose body was never found. Lily talked with Daniel about losing parents to death and the grief it brings before they went to sleep.

Y & R Spoilers – Nothing Like Grief To Bond, Or Re-Bond People

There’s nothing like going through a traumatic experience like grief together to bond people together, or to re-bond them, in Daniel and Lily’s case. In addition to having lost parents, they’ve both recently been through fairly bad breakups-Daniel with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lily with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). But it’s different than just a rebound situation with Daniel and Lily, they were each other’s first loves and they’ve been through more than one traumatic situation together.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Daniel and Lily’s bond is very deep, and it’s not surprising that it would redevelop in a situation like this – and also that it would grow even deeper. When they eloped to Las Vegas as teenagers, it was after Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) lost her life taking the wheel from a drunken Daniel, his blaming himself for her death.

It’s not really all that surprising that a fire reignites between the two former teenage lovers who eloped-there’s that thing about you never get over your first love, after all. The two teenagers were already becoming scarred by life’s traumas when they first got together, and they’re even more scarred now, so they naturally comfort each other. But now they’re each older and wiser, and have learned from the many mistakes made along the way, and no one would be surprised if they remarry.

Sparks fly again between Lily and Daniel, and this time no one want to stop what’s happening between them. Especially not the way they light up whenever they see each other.
