Y&R Spoilers: Simply Ashley Sounds Good – Tucker Closing In

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is taken with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He knows that she loves him and was thrilled that she finally agreed to his business plan.

Tucker has been trying to convince Ashley to leave Jabot and start her own business since shortly after he departed the helicopter on the Abbott mansion’s back lawn. She was not interested in abandoning the family business until recently when Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) talk session caused Ashley to reconsider her approach.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Will Not Relinquish Control

According to Y&R spoilers, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is intent on remaining the Chief Executive Officer at Jabot. His co-CEO, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), disagreed with Ashley’s assessment of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Ashley believes Diane will prove to be Jack’s ruin. But she also thinks Jack’s fiance will bring the company down.

Bergman’s character does not feel eternally entitled to be leading Jabot. But he is right to think that remaining loyal to the business their father, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), founded gives him the right to not have his judgment challenged by Ashley.

Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Is The Trigger

Using the term trigger can be a cliche trap. Think of it however one wants, prodding one’s emotions to get them to react involves power.

Ashley believes Diane has control over Jack’s mind because she is ruling his emotions. Jack counters by thinking everything Ashley offers about Diane has no merit because of her involvement with Tucker.

Diane is a trigger for Jack because he believes she has demonstrated contrition for faking her murder. He also thinks she has made recompense, but that Tucker has not done the same.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Wants To Avoid A Fight

From all appearances, Tucker wants to steer Ashley away from a family fight. He sees that she is consumed in believing Jack must be saved.

Tucker said he spit-balled a name for Ashley’s line, calling it Simply Ashley. Her reaction to the moniker was mixed but she verbally agreed to throw in with him.

Viewers will soon see if Ashley forms a company with Tucker. However, that would not preclude her from asserting voting control on Jabot’s Board of Directors.

Ashley’s angst will not evaporate in the early summer sun. So, more sibling drama is likely coming on Y&R.
