Y&R Spoilers: Shemar Moore Returns To Genoa City

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Emmy award winner Shemar Moore (Malcolm Winters) is making a return appearance to Genoa City, Wisconsin this spring.

According to Deadline.com, Moore, who stars on CBS’s S.W.A.T., will air on Monday, May 8. When Malcom is in town he reconnects with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He was last seen on the show in 2019 for the tribute episode to the late Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters). Moore left the role of Malcolm Winters in 2007.

Moore will not be onscreen for a lengthy stay, but we imagine his onscreen time will be meaningful as it incorporates his family members. What will the Winters family reunion be like? Hopefully everyone will have squashed beef by then and kept the peace.

But this is a soap opera family, and things are rarely peaceful for long. Devon and Lily seem to have sidestepped WWIII but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more battles down the road.

Malcolm and Neil were brothers and the former is Lily’s biological father. He has a vested interest in helping the family and he will always have Lily’s back. At this time Lily and Devon are not copacetic with traitor Nate so perhaps Malcom will try and reunite the cousins?

Or, there could be something entirely new that has come to light and rocked the family between now and May.

There is also the fact that her lawyer Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) warned Lily to stay on guard. Amanda is not unbiased of course since Devon cheated on her with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She has plenty of personal reasons to be wary of Devon but she is also a seasoned lawyer who knows that business deals can always take a wrong turn.

But what if Malcolm is coming to Genoa City for a happier reason? Lily is getting closer to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) might there be wedding bells in the near future?
