Y&R Spoilers: Sharon Snaps After Cameron’s Death, Checks Into Mental Hospital?

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is dead and gone, again.  But, his aftermath is still rocking Genoa City.  Despite Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) calm exterior, Y&R spoilers tease Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) mom is spiraling and needs help.

Sharon stood her ground against her stalker, and stabbed Cameron Kirsten in the chest, we all saw the menace take his last breaths.  You would think Sharon Rosales would be relieved, but now she has to worry about whether or not she will be arrested and sent to jail for killing him.  There’s a fine line between murder and self-defense.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Is Bi-polar

If you are a long time viewer of The Young and the Restless, then you know that Sharon Rosales has spent some time in and out of mental institutions.

Ten years ago the character was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, the soap opera was praised for the trail blazing storyline and sometimes we forget that Sharon has struggled over the years with her mental health.

According to Y&R spoilers, Sharon could be heading back to the mental hospital.  It’s not surprising considering her diagnosis, the trauma of what happened with Cameron Kirsten, the fear of losing Faith, and now the stress of having to worry about whether or not she will be arrested.

Of course her situationship with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could also trigger something in her.  With all of those factors, Sharon’s downward spiral is all but guaranteed.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Sharon Headed To The Mental Hospital

The good news is, if Sharon is arrested for killing Cameron Kirsten, she has a valid mental health argument and a decade old diagnosis to defend herself.

You have to wonder if maybe Sharon uses her history and mental illness to get herself out of going to jail.  Perhaps her “spiraling” is all an act to secure an insanity plea?
