Y&R Spoilers: Sharon Gets Her Wish – Nick’s Assignment Is Tricky

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) wanted Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to help her, and she got her wish. The return of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is being turned from bad into something potentially good. Devoted viewers recognized one of Y&R’s historical villains when Ashby, the long-time real-life husband of Susan Walters (Diane Jenkins), reprised his role. Cameron’s vengeful return led to his death in the ground below the Newman Ranch.

However, in true soapy style, an epilogue to Cameron’s comeback storyline included him leaving personal items and his corporation to Sharon in his will.

Cameron was certifiable. Kudos to the show’s staff and the actor for truly bringing out the bum in this retro storyline as well.

Ashby grew a grizzly man beard and let his mane of hair flow. Cameron’s clothing was also that of a deranged Colorado mountain man skulking in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

True, Cameron’s ability to roam through the town where various people still knew of him was a stretch. But the mini tale was well-paced and had an old-school soapy climax that had Sharon play hero.

In one Crimson Lights’ conversation Adam’s default defensiveness was turned into an okay. The power of Sharon in his heart proved decisive as he realized her intentions were in his best interest, so why not partner with her as his one-time wife requested?

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) liked Sharon’s proposal about his sons working together at the revamped McCall Unlimited, with the incorporated Kirsten Incorporated as part of a merger.

It will be interesting to see how Adam responds to Nick’s addition, as that part of Victor and Sharon’s plan is yet to unfold.

Like Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Sharon sees that Adam needs his big brother’s guidance. Victor also wants his oldest son to intervene, so Adam does not go to the same dark places he has in many past instances.

Having the current love of his life, Sally, and his greatest love, Sharon, in agreement matters. Combine that with Victor’s request, and Nick knows he is needed.

Adam does not work well with others. So, he is sure to see Nick’s arrival as a thorn to pluck. Yet, conversations with Sharon and potentially, Sally could adjust Adam’s outlook on Y&R.
